🔵 VSCode: Emmet 🔵
Emmet is a great tool that comes integrated withVSCode that allows you to write HTML more efficiently and speed up your coding.
Here are 3 Emmet shortcuts I use to make me a more efficient developer.
Let's check them out. 🧵 👇 1/7
1️⃣ Making Child Elements
Ever had to make a big chain of nested HTML elements? Found it can take some time to do it?
Now, you can do it one line with the aid of (>) in Emmet.
2️⃣ Making Multiple Elements
Making multiple elements can be a time-consuming pain.
Not with Emmet, with Emmet, it's as simple as adding an asterisk (*) followed by the amount you require.
Hit tab and boom you have your elements.
3️⃣ Adding Classes
What about adding classes to elements? It takes time up adding .class or .className to every element as you go.
Now with the use of (.), you can add all classes to the elements on creation.
⭐ Combining them together
The ultimate tip? You can chain all of these commands into one, creating nested multiple elements with class names for you.
Now that's cool. 😎
Emmet makes writing HTML a dream & removes a lot of the time-consuming parts. I couldn't imagine working without it.
